Easy Hard Boiled Eggs

I make our hard boiled eggs this way every time and the shell is very easy to take off. We do competitions of who can take shells off the quickest.

I use eggs from the grocery store, have not tried fresh eggs this way yet.

Step 1

Place enough water in pot that it boils and steams.

Step 2

Place eggs into strainer pot and cover

Step 3

I place burner on high still I hear the water to start bubbling.

Step 4

Turn the burner low-med for 12 min covered still.

Step 5

After 12 minutes I turn burner off and leave pot on top of hot burner.

Step 6

When they have cooled about a hour I crack the top and bottom of egg and peel the egg shell should fall off easy.
